Bangladesh v India - 2nd Quarter Final - ICC CWC 2015 Highlights HD

India vs Bangladesh will be one of the most crucial matches for both the playing teams. This high octane face-off between defending champions, team India and ‘fearless’ Bangladesh will be held on 19th March at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. Looking at the history of two teams, the World Cup head-to-head score is settled at 1-1. Bangladesh had upset India in 2007 edition of World Cup doing their share to send them home from first round while MS Dhoni-led team India drew level with a soaring win in ICC World Cup 2011.

At the start of the World Cup, defending champions India would have accepted gleefully the position they find themselves in - a quarter-final against Bangladesh, the lowest-ranked of the remaining eight teams, a side with medium-pacers and spinners that India's batsmen have found relatively easy to bully, a team without big-match experience, and a team with vulnerabilities outside the subcontinent. Ironically, Bangladesh would probably have accepted their position too.

Just before the World Cup was scheduled to begin, Rohit cracked 138 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) against Australia. India lost the match but the batsman had signalled his intent to score big on these soils, the way he's done it back home. On Thursday, Melbourne will provide him another opportunity - on the same track he batted on for his 138 - to return to form.
